Where stories begin…. The Masai Mara is globally renowned for its glorious open plains and exceptional wildlife. The Masai Mara is home to the greatest gathering of larger mammals on the planet, including such fantastic species as lions, cheetahs, crocodiles, elephants and lots more.
» We were extremely Lucky to have the opportunity to travel with Espen, Destinasjonsservice and his team to Kenya. A group of 16 lucky winners had the adventure of their lives! We felt privileged og humble by the adventure of watching Maasai Mara in it`s own environment. This adventure and the expertise which the local guides – the Maasai Warriors – gave us, was amazing. The wildlife exceeded all our expectations, and the people we met all over were all friendly and some of the most happy people you could ever meet. We felt safe and well taken care of, throughout this overwhelming experience. – Simeon Aldren, Spaceworld Norway »
The Masai Mara is a perfect destination throughout the year because of its continuous pleasant temperatures and limited rainfall. From late June to October/November the Mara welcomes the Great Migration of wildebeests, zebras and antelopes, an extraordinary wildlife spectacle named as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The Masai Mara is easy to get to. The Savannah is only a short transfer away from Nairobi, an international hub with several international arrivals every day.
Basecamp Wilderness, is our nostalgic tribute to the safari of the early explorers and safari pioneers. Free from artificial luxury and modern disturbances – Wilderness is Safari as it was meant to be. Tugged away deep inside the incomparable Saddle Valley, it is you, the Maasai, the wildlife, and the stars.
Basecamp Eagle View invites you to gaze towards the future of Sustainable Tourism from the perspective of the eyes of the eagle. Perched atop a natural hilltop, this astonishing luxury eco-camp is located within Naboisho Conservancy – a highly acclaimed model for nature conservation management.
Basecamp Masai Mara – fittingly referred to as the ‘mother of all camps’ by our staff – is where our story started. Lovingly run by our Maasai staff – BCMM is as much a home as it is a tourism destination. Here guests become more than visitors, they become part of the Maasai community

From Nairobi we departure with Safari Link, and within 20 minutes we practically land in the midle of «the zoo». It is breathtaking and spectacular watching the Zebras running away from the airstrip, and not at least – beeing welcomed by our fantastic Maasai Warriors. We tend to spend most of the time in Naboisho Mara. It is smaller than the great Maasai Mara, and because of that – the tourism is less and the Wildlife is spectacular. But of course – Maasai Mara National Reserve is worth the visit. From Basecamp Maasai Mara, we are within walking distance to the great reserve, only separated by the river.
For several years we have made fantastic incentive trips for business groups to Kenya and Maasai Mara with great success.
Let us make your dreams come through as well.
